Still not working. I'm sure we'll get an email today with details on what our next steps should be...

I'm glad I found this forum! I'm an engineering major (female) at Northwestern... I got an interview yesterday, and I'm waiting to schedule like a lot of you. How are you all preparing?

Any international candidates here? What are you guys/gals planning to do with regard to getting US Visa's and making it to the interview on time.
Making it to an on-campus interview is not the easiest thing from an administrative/financial point of view. Do give updates if you find out how they are planning to go about interviewing international candidates.

Has anyone been able to schedule an interview today? And, for anyone who was able to schedule an interview yesterday before the server was shut down, is this interview still confirmed? I was thinking that we'd receive an email this morning.

i was one of the people who scheduled before the shutdown. i called them today, and they said they don't know yet if our interviews are still "confirmed." they will send out an email addressing all of this as soon as they get the information from applyyourself.

@aimforthebest: Hey, I am from India, and I already have a B1/B2 10 yr visa, but I am not sure if I can just pack n leave. I tried but couldn't find any info regarding visa on the HBS site. Where are you from? Do you have any info on visa matters.

Out of curiosity, would any of you that got interviews be willing to post your stats (GPA, major, GMAT)?

I'd post mine, but I doubt anyone wants to know the stats of those that didn't get an interview...

I'll start off the profile posting, as long as others post theirs after! haha... I think I'm a really unusual prospect for HBS 2+2 but here goes:

-Dual degree with a B.S. in Marketing and B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona
-3.7 GPA with an average of 28 units/semester; honors program
-640 GMAT and 6 on the Writing Assessment
-Leadership Roles
-Female

I think my scores were outweighed by my leadership roles and other activities, though my academic scores are acceptable...but that's me!

NEXT!

Oh and smkrn- I don't know how you didn't get an interview with those majors and those scores...

I am doing my industrial engg from IIT Roorkee,India with a GPA of around 3.5 and GMAT score of 640,AWA-4.5, and decent extra curricular activities.......
