A 90-minute admissions exam from GMAC, built specifically for experienced professionals applying to Executive MBA, part-time, and hybrid programs. No essay, geometry-free Quant, and a design that assumes you already think like a manager.

How the exam flows
Three 30-minute sections in a fixed order, each split into two modules. No optional breaks, and the sections never mix.

Module-adaptive — the hidden mechanic
In Verbal and Quant, your Module 1 performance sets the difficulty ceiling for Module 2. A strong Module 1 unlocks harder, higher-value questions — so Module-1 accuracy directly gates your section score. IR runs at fixed difficulty.
The review screen
Within a module you can revisit and change answers before you submit it. Once you move on, that module locks. Both modules in a section share one 30-minute clock with no mid-section pause.

How scoring works — and what's good
Each of the three sections is scored 0–20 with equal weight, combining into a Total Score of 100–200. GMAC doesn't publish EA percentile tables, so use the estimator below as directional program-tier guidance, not official cutoffs.

Section balance matters as much as total. A very low Quant sub-score signals a gap to programs with quantitative coursework, even alongside a strong total. Scores are valid 5 years. Always confirm the expected range directly with your target program.

Online testing is not available in Mainland China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, or South Sudan — candidates there test at a center. At a center you get a physical noteboard; online you can use a virtual whiteboard, a physical erasable whiteboard (max 12×20"), or both. Practice with whatever you'll actually use on test day.
