Hello all

first of all, I would like to thank BTG for this great resource.

My name is Alex and I'm from Spain.I have started learning GMAT a month ago and 21 days ago I enrolled into 60 days email guide.

My first GMAT practice test is 490 and I'm targeting something between 650 and 700. I plan to take exam on January (in the middle of the month). But I really see that I'm doing something wrong while studying.

Althogh I'm trying to invest at least two daily hours on weekdays for GMAT, I'm only on day 7 of the 60 days course (I'm just wondering how can day 5 be comoleted in one day... I spent three on it and still missing some practice to make)right now I'm not studying on weekends. I think I'm taking too seriously each chapter and this makes me go so slow.

Anyway, I hope that with time this will be solved as I'll catch a routine for this.

The time it takes to complete each day's activities will vary from person to person. It also varies depending on which resource you use (GMAT Prep Now videos or MGMAT books). Also, some days take longer to complete.

If you're having difficulties keeping up, don't worry. You can take longer than a day to complete the activities if you run out of time. Plus, later on in the Guide, much of your time is spent working on weaknesses (i.e., not learning new

Hi all,
I know that it's kinda late to introduce myself but we have a quote in Persian which says "Whenever you catch a fish, it's fresh" :)
My name is Amir and I am from Iran. 28 years old. Working as ERP consultant in a private company. I have M.Sc in IT management and looking forward to continue my education in DBA.

Few months ago, I've started studying for GMAT & since there is no GMAT instructor in my home-country, I was heading no where :D Then a friend of mine suggested this site and I accidentally found the 60-day guide. So, I took 2 months off from work, purchased MGMAT books, and dedicated my time following the guide and working on daily topics.
Since then my studies got a blueprint & I found a path to follow.
Right now, I'm in 32th day of the plan and my appointment is within 32 days.

Here I want to thank you all for running such a great website for GMAT test takers.

Thanks Brent,

yes, that's what I'm doing. I believe the most important is to try to dedícate for GMAT a least some time every day, because if not, it's like a climbing a mountain, while you're going up, no matter how fast, you're approaching your goal. If you stop studying, you start losing what you have learn and this brings you down.

Hello All,

My name is Marshelle and I am studying in Green Bay WI. I am originally from the PNW (Portland OR then to Seattle WA for my undergrad) and moved out here about 1.5 years ago for work.

I am a Chemical Engineer and am looking to eventually get my MBA to move out of the engineering side of work and head over to the business side. I plan on taking the GMAT in early spring/late winter 2014 and am following the 60-day plan as my work (~50 hrs/week) and personal life allow. It is getting super cold here so this will be a welcome distraction from cabin fever.

I am hoping to apply for business school in the next 2-3 years after finishing my Green and Black 6Sigma training.

My first practice test was a 580. Considering I haven't touched geometry without a calculator since high school I have a lot of reviewing to do. I was surprised at how many quantitative questions I missed considering my mathematical background. My goal is to at least break 700 with a higher goal of reaching closer to 750.

As I am self directing my studying program I look forward to using the BTG community as a virtual study buddy. If anyone out there is on the same general time line, I would love to connect! Nothing like a friend to keep you accountable.
