My name is Chris, friends call me Hutch or Big Hutch, and I just graduated from a University in New York. I majored in accounting and ran track and field for my school. I've got a few future goals, some academic, some personal. To name a few: I want to get a great score on the GMAT, I want to record a classic rap album, and I want to have the most innovative job possible.

Thanks for introducing yourself, Hutch.
You have the perfect attitude for doing well on the GMAT. At the end of the day, this test helps one learn a lot of skills (analysis, reasoning, grammar/writing, number sense, etc.) needed to succeed in business and elsewhere.

Cheers,
Brent

Hello, everyone. I am Lan, a Chinese. I am now preparing my second GMAT exam, and I was recommended by a video about GMAT preparation to visit mba.com for guidance and therefore find beatthegmat.

To be honest, I am totally surprised and amazed that there are so many materials to access to and so many experts to ask for help. In China, the preparation system based on internet is still quite elementary. And I hope one day I can read English fluently and help further complete GMAT preparation free online sources in China.

Similar to Hutch's case(Hutch, you are awesome, your introduction encourages me a lot!), the 60 Days' Plan is very useful for me. Today is my 6th day, Unfortunately, my reading speed is a bit slow, so I just begin the 5th day plan. But I come up with some ideas to catch it up, of course, by someone's help. However, the most useful methods all come from Manhattan's the GMAT Road Map. So, if there are anybody who struggles with reading comperhension, speed... a way worthy of attempt: take your time to read this guide.

So...
Thanks again to Brent, beatthegmat administor, and those helpful materials and earnest ideas, I will try my best to fulfill my dream.

Best wishes to you all!

Hi everyone,

I am a Belgian student who just finished his bachelor. I would like to apply to some top (European) B-schools next year. My personal goal on the GMAT is 700+. I believe that hard work and of course the 60-day study guide should be sufficient to be successful.

Good luck to all my fellow test takers!

Thomas
