Hello akhilesh1988,

Transcript pertains to the list of all your undergraduate grades in a particular university. In the case of 2+2, they ask you to send your transcripts from all undergraduate universities attended. In other words, they want to know all of your undergraduate grades from all academic institutions attended.

Hope this helps,
Gabriel

Dear Gabriel,
Thank you so much for ur reply. Really knid of you for helping a novice such as me.
Will the transcripts include Standard Xth grade, XIth and XIIth and the graduation? Or only the graduation?
Or right from grade I to everything? The question is silly but i cannot help it

Hello Akhilesh1988,

The transcripts, I think, should include all your grades in your undergraduate university. I don’t know what’s the system of education in India. If your undergrad classes started at the Xth grade, you should start there. The idea is that your grades should only focus on your undergraduate experience. I’m not a 100% sure here. You can ask [email protected] if you have doubts.

Best regards,
Gabriel

P.S. Hehe, I’ve been having trouble with the GMAT so I rescheduled it on June 29.

Hey Gabriel,
Thanx for the help. I have sent the query to the HBS support. Lets see whats the reply.
You're givin GMAT that late? So its allowed then to give it that late?
And u're from phillipines? What's ur current field of study?

Hello Akhilesh1988,

Yes, I am going to take the GMAT as late as June 29 but by that time, I’m going to make sure that all my application materials are done. Yes, you can take the GMAT that late (although I advise that you do it if you can take it earlier so you don’t cram). You are allowed to take the GMAT as late as June 30 provided that you can give your unofficial scores to the 2+2 application site by the day it’s due (July 1).

Yes, I am from the Philippines. My current field of study is Industrial Economics. I can graduate in my 5th year to get a Master’s in Industrial Economics which is not allowed for the 2+2 program since the aforesaid requires you to work after undergraduate education. Hence, I plan to graduate in my 4th year (next year) to instead get a BA in Humanities with specialization in Industrial Economics.

Best regards,
Gabriel

grades

by soumyamohan1988 » Fri May 29, 2009 1:47 am
Hi everyone

I had a doubt about the grade sheets we have to give along with our application. Do we also have to give the grades of the most recent semester ie the 3rd yr - 2nd semester.
I have not got my official grades for this semester yet.

Please reply soon .

Hi soumyamohan1988,

Yes, you must give the most recent grade that you have. If you don’t have your 2nd semester grades yet, I suggest that you ask HBS ([email protected]) if it is permissible that you send only up to the 1st semester of your 3rd year.

For Akhilesh1988,
Are you asking for my email address or someone else’s? Why? You can always give me a private message if you need anything.

Best regards,
Gabriel

GMAT Score:590

by nitya34 » Fri May 29, 2009 8:20 pm
Do they entertain Old guys having 12-13 yrs of Work Ex + low GMAT(590)?
what score is competitive for experienced guy?

They'll accept scores for any test taken before 1st july. The official scores can be sent later.
BTW 640 ain't that bad. Last year even people with 600 made it to the interviews. But again as gmat740 said it depends on other aspects of your application too.
Anybody taking gre?I heard it is easier! lol

@nitya34 There's different application procedure (traditional procedure) to apply to HBS if you're not 'a college student and have no work experience'. :)

Hi Akhilesh1988,

Sorry, I didn’t give my email address because if I post it here in BTG, spams will permeate my email account (based on past experience). That’s why I was suggesting that you just give me a private message (by clicking the PM button) so I can help in your needs. Please don’t hesitate to ask me. I am willing to help you with your application if you need it.

Thank you and God Bless,
Gabriel
