haha, i hope so! That would be nice!

Obviously, we are all "juniors" but what are everyone's ages??

Reason I ask is b/c I took a 2 year leave and came back this past fall. I will be 24 this month.

You guys think that they will frown on the "older" age?

PS - the leave was to pursue my own business full-time.

rachitchandra,

Impressive profile, but the very last point of losing your student union election is irrelevant consideration :-P

Hey what happened to you guys?

I know everybody is anxiously waiting for the results and so as I. But we can have our usual discussion :)

By the way I read in a few post back, there had been around 844 applicants this year and there will be 200 interview invitations. So is this the official Number or just a wild guess?

The 844 number is correct, its on the HBS website. The 200 interview number is an estimate from last year's figures, I guess they might offer 200-230 interviews to accomodate the rise in applicants.

Btw, Is the July 15 date correct for the notification of interviews or is it late July?

I think, even though they say they are going to notify us by late of July, they will notify us in mid-July..
They just dun wanna promise us...esp. now there are so many applicants.
I really hope they notify us earlier...I (and many other ppl i believe) have to confirm the flights...

Hi all,

I know the waiting is quite a pain. And I believe the Admission Board is spending their heart and soul, reading everyone's application.

Therefore, I find some informative articles for those who still login onto the online application, re-reading their applications again and again.

1) The Road from Business School, Less Traveled:

A Harvard MBA who graduated without a job in 2006 finds it more a blessing than a curse

https://www.businessweek.com/bschools/co ... 917183.htm

2) This book will be helpful after one is admitted into the program:
https://www.businessweek.com/magazine/co ... 728337.htm

I think these articles present Harvard Business School more realistically, and show the flip-side of its degree value, both financially and professionally.

Hope this may ease the tension on the waiting process.

Best of luck to all.

No offence But......
"LOST"

I wonder how is that an accomplishment?
To my best knowledge, A defeat can be a learning experience but not an accomplishment to be proud of

Anyways buddy, you really have a great score. Best of Luck
