Hi,

I just got the confirmation mail from IE Business School. I have a few queries:
1> Though its ranked as one of the top 10 global programs, I did read a couple of negative reviews on the placement in some forums. If an alumni can give be some information about the school and placements scenario in IE business school it would be very helpful
2> Any information on scholarships, financial aids which I can avail to would be nice.
3> Anyone else is joining the Nov '11 batch?

Regards,
Abhisek

Hi Abhishek,

many congratulations to you on getting the confirmation.

i have qualified for the interview, and will be having my interview with Karan Gupta tomorrow. Any help on the interview like the questions asked and otherwise would be really helpful.

Sharan

Hey Sharan,

Stick to your essays. My interview questions were all based on them. The interview will be for around 30 mins.

All the Best.

Hi,
good to see you people make it big at IE.
I sent my CV for initial review to Karan Gupta and he 'strngly recommanded' to apply for IE IMBA.
But am a little sceptical as it's already January 2011.
Can anyone please suggest what are my chances of making it if I apply before Jan month-end.

still a good time, but you need to hurry and the application is lengthy.

What I have heard is that he is like an Admin for IE who just does interviews for people getting calls from India.

His interviews are so unimpressive, I had mine early 2010 and he just reads the questions word to word from the application!

The whole admission process was so disappointing and I thus decided not to go to IE. Even current students dont speak highly of the school!

Interview I had was ok...unimpressive to a extent...

But the school from what I have heard is good...Of course feedback from current students would be great..

He is an alumini of IE and just does this for IE on a part time basis or something like that is what I heard. And the way he conducts the interviews just put so many people of!
