Since the Reading Comprehension forum is not always the most frequented I just wanted to post a link in this forum to the following posting on Using LSAT passages to study for GMAT Reading Comprehension. The link is https://www.beatthegmat.com/lsat-to-stud ... tml#322872.

Thanks!

I followed the link and read this posting on the reading comp forum. This is very good! I am studying for the GMAT for the second time and I wondered where I could get some new reading passages. I will follow your tips and LSAT reading passages should work for me. I found a used copy of one of the books for less than ten bucks!

Can I use the LSAT critical reasoning as well? I need some of those too.

Thanks!

Yes you can use the LSAT Critical Reasoning questions! After all you have an LSAT book and it has Reading Comp and Critical Reasoning questions.

You do have to be more selective with critical reasoning. Part 2 of my "Using the LSAT to Study for the GMAT" talks about critical reasoning. The link is here:

https://www.beatthegmat.com/lsat-to-stud ... 69915.html

And here are two sample LSAT critical reasoning problems:

https://www.beatthegmat.com/lsat-problem ... 70055.html

https://www.beatthegmat.com/lsat-problem ... 70055.html

And here is an example of an LSAT problem that is too different and not good to study:

Hope that helps!!

5 Star (563 Reviews)

"Target Test Prep is the closest to the official version of the GMAT exam, about 99% accuracy in terms of the quality and quantity of information. The course has excellently created singular sets of focused lessons and tests for every possible topic that one could come across in the official GMAT exam."

"The TTP course maximizes the efficiency of the time you spend studying. It will take time and effort but I could almost guarantee that if you complete the course exactly as it is laid out you will get an amazing score. They also have a very responsive team willing to help with any questions you might have."

"TTP has two things that I think no other test prep company offers: A teaching approach that reinforces understanding and an attitude that will give you the mental preparedness needed to succeed on the test. TTP gives you a deep understanding of the concept you need to know while teaching you how to think."
