This has pronoun referral issue. Any pronoun should refer to the full noun in its totality.. here the full noun is "more than ten times as much energy".. "it" cannot refer to this.. so we can safely eliminate A, B and D.

Here "now" is an adverb and should be placed immediately before generated.. so this leaves us with option E.

As A,B, D has pronoun error "it" which seems to refer back to "generation of wind power" and as per definition "it" should only refer back to noun and not to a clause/phrase.
Problem with "E" is use of than.
