Given the information, we can get that each player has to play 9 games; thus, there are 10*9 = 90 games. However, since each game is played between two players, in the count of 90, each game is counted twice; thus, there are 90/2 = 45 games.

The correct answer: C

The total number of games played is 10C2 = (10 x 9)/2! = 45.
