OA is: D

"Born" can take a few prepositions in its idioms, and "born of" is one of the correct idioms. I would have to do some digging to verify that E is actually incorrect . . . we do have things like "born of necessity" in English. Either "born of" only gets used of things that can't give birth, or GMATCLUB didn't know better. I'll let you know if I find anything definitive.
