When a cylindrical tank is filled with water at a rate of 22 cubic meters per hour, the level of water in the tank rises at a rate of 0.7 meters per hour. Which of the following best approximates the radius of the tank in meters?

After one hour,
Height of water in the cylindrical tank = 0.7 metres.
Volume of water in the cylindrical tank = 22 cubic metres. = pi*r*r*h. Where r is the radius of the cylindrical tank and h is the height of water in the cylindrical tank.

22 = pi*r*r*h
22 = (22/7)*r*r*0.7
10 = r*r
r = √10

Volume of cylindrical tank = (pi)r²h
22 = (22/7) * r² * 0.7
r² = 10
r = [spoiler]√10[/spoiler]

The correct answer is B.
