Hey all, I am doing a 10 day toefl prep, just out of my gmat.
I could not find the information i am posting here anywhere. i collected this info frm youtube, hope will be helpful for rash toefl takers. :


Speaking
Question 1 and 2.
2 independant 15(prep)-45(speak)
easy, take 3-4 notes in the 15 seconds and talk crap for 45 seconds


Question 3
1 integrated task 30-60
Read a passage in 45 sec, listen to a conversation and speak a sample response,

Conversation maybe between 2 people or a single person expressing his opinion.

start speaking this way in 3 and 4 :
(step 1) The article talks about . . .
(step 2) which the passage describes as . . .
(step 3) The lecture provides an example of . . . to illustrate this.
(step 4) The professor explains that . . . He states that . .



Question 4,
1 integrated 30-60
Read a passage(on a topic) in 45 sec, listen to a lecture(<2 min).
similar to question 3


Question 5, no reading
Listen to a conversation man/woman, usually 2 solutions to a problem is discussed,
you have to choose 1 solution and speak for that
20 secs for prep-60 secs to speak.

start speaking this wAY:
1> the man's problem is that.....
2>the students discuss 2 solutions......
3> if i were the man i would......(choose the 2nd solution)...the 1st aint good because blah blah,,,,



Question 6, no reading
Listen to a lecture, usually 2 examples, take notes and talk trash-easy
20 secs for prep-60 secs to speak.
