The answer should be E.
For sqrt(n) to be between 1 and 2, n can have many values such as 2,3, and even 2.5 or 2.7
sqrt(2) = 1.4
sqrt(3) = 1.73
sqrt(2.5) ~ between 1.4 and 1.7
sqrt(2.7) ~ "same as above".
So even with 2 statements we still dont know whether n is an integer or not.

It took about 21 mins to answer these questions. It seems this is a LSAT passage. Its not much inline with GMAT passages which are shorter and with less questions.
I am also not sure about the answer choices that I pick but here it goes

2-b
3-c
4-e
5-e
6-a
7-e

I am more inclined to go for A though. We need an answer to argue against the author's position that the forecast cannot be evaluate. To evaluate something you would need some data points and argument A. provides that. Based on the unusual configuration of data (as basis of precise whether) we can e...

If its possible you should retake the test and go for 600+. My previous score was the same as Poonam and I thought of applying to MBA schools with that score too, but consulting with the admission committee of the schools that I wanted to apply (where avg was 660) I got the impression that it would ...

I will also go with D. The word "Any" gives away for 1 and 2. For C. Any literate person who is lazy has no chance of reading the classics -> If he had no chance of reading the classic then we cannot conclude he is lazy. Cancel C. Again the word "any" gives away for E. Therefore ...

I was just looking through this problem. I agree that the correct approach is to pick up fractions and work. But if we consider the value of x to 1 that the equation might not hold true. Or is it that the questions does not require the consideration of x=1 because of "could" used in the qu...

I will go with C. I dismissed B. Not sure whether graduates (plural) form can be refer to by who. Dismiss D and E cause I think it may not have a clear referent. Remaining choice is A and C. Dismissed A cause the use of "are" maybe redundant. C is the answer for me. Whats the OA ?

According to me the original choice should be fine (i.e has done). Did is the past tense and done is past participle. I consider this sentence to be Present perfect as it defines an event at some point in the past.
What is the answer anyways ?
Thanks.
