I am interested in a few MBA programs in the U.S. (e.g. Texas, Tulane, SMU, UCLA).
I believe I have a very light profile but I would like to get an evaluation:
1. Combined undergrad (BA in Politics)/Graduate (MA in Business) in continental Europe from Top liberal arts college in my country. GPA is kind of N/A due to extreme complexity of grading system but to be conservative I'd say it is around 3.3-3.4 GPA
2. Study abroad program during undergrad in top 25 US college (think Rice, Emory, Boston University)
3. Work experience: All in London all in Finance with 3 different large European banks for 1.5 year combined but if I apply for 2013 I would have 2.5 years. 1 year in structured finance (full time) / 1 summer internship in equity research / currently in DCM.
4. Extracurricular: Nothing since I left college last summer.
5. GRE: Quant 168 (96th perc) and Verbal 165 (96th perc)
6. GMAT: studying for it right now. Took a 1st practice test with no studying/practicing and got 700. Quite confident I can prop that up to much higher, but I'd like to know if the GMATprep practices exams are much easier than the real test or it is the same difficulty.
7. TOELF: Hope to get a waiver due to having worked in the UK for 1.5 year so far + 1 year abroad in the US. If not quite confident I can get a 110 on the iBT (I took the test before going to the US to study abroad and got a 105 while hardly speaking English)
