MGMAT tests are not easier. The important thing is not to compare results or read into your test scores, but understand what patterns of questions you are getting wrong. So, what patterns are you noticing?ABMK wrote:have taken MGMAT untimed test:
Quantitative 40 61 %
Verbal 27 46 %
Total 550 54 %
Used spreadsheet to analyze results. For some reason in Power prep CAT 1 the problem solving was much lower than 40. Confused, are MGMAT tests easier?
Need new strategy. PLEASE ASSIST

Majority of DS questions i got wrong, PS is better, but not in probability, word problems are slacking. I sometimes catch myself rereading word problems a few times.
in verbal section: CR- Weaken, Inference and Draw a conclusion questions are a problem. SC- did not have too many mistakes, maybe need to review modifiers. RC- i still hav enot developed a good strategy to attack those. I read and take notse at the same time, such as read a thought and wrote a thought in shorter words. After i am done wiht the text i start questions, i get some right, some wrong. No specific pattern, i guess. Maybe i need to employe different strategy.. I tried skimming the text, but then i get all answers wrong. I need to write things down to stay focused.
What do you think? My plan for this week is to go over OG math and OG verbal fundamentals and do a practice test again. And analyze the results.

Work hard to identify your weaknesses in granular detail and start making flashcards on concepts that are difficult for you. Review these flashcards daily.
Keep up the good work!

Are you comfortable with Kaplan 800?
Do you think you should use that book at this time of your prep?
