Good luck to everyone applying! I'm an MLT Fellow - Class of 2013!!! I'm actually a Nominee as I did not go through the full year program but was nominated into the program by my school before starting at Cornell in 2011... I can tell you more about what that entailed if you wish to ask! I'm envious of the experience you're all about to embark upon, but I do not miss the application process or the Core.

Applied for R1 on 9/28 and received a video interview invite on 10/7.

Applied R1 and received an invite on Friday as well. Would love to hear from Toby and/or others on what to expect from the video interview.
Do we know if all of the invites have went out already? I applied late on the 30th but haven't heard back from them at all. Also my video message doesn't have any views yet either, don't know if they got to my application or what.
The interview questions are relatively straightforward, and should be easy enough fro anyone to get through. The only difficulty is getting used to the video interview format. For instance, making sure you're looking into the camera (the interviewer's eyes) and not the screen. Some questions are more like "breaking the ice" questions, and then the rest are typical behavioral (STAR) interview questions. Good luck, everyone!
My interview was pretty straightforward. I would agree with Toby that the hardest part is making sure that you look straight into the camera. You will not be able to see yourself as you're recording so pay special attention to this. As far as the questions, I don't remember any STAR formatted questions. My questions seemed very random. The very last question requires you to type out the answer and you have a short time limit. Make sure that you complete the interview on a device that you feel comfortable typing on.
I got an interview request on Oct 7th but now just seeing it. For some reason, my Gmail account flagged it as a spam mail. I now have until tomorrow to finish it. hmmmm

Greetings fellow MLT MBA Prep applicants. I submitted my application on the due date of 09.30 and got a invite 10.07 evening. My work schedule has been crazy so I'm just sitting down with getting my thoughts together. I will be completing the video portion once i get off work. My buddy was telling me that there will be another interview after this. The process is exhaustive as I've heard from many others but totally worth it in the end. Keep up the good work to those invited and good luck to those who are planning to.

That's tough, but at the end of the day, being waitlisted means that you are still in the game. The main thing right now would be to get your GMAT up. Talking to some MLT alumni last weekend, it seems like the program is much less worried about candidate when they are around the 650 GMAT range (these were students at an M7). If you can hit near a 650 or 700 on your retake I'm sure that it would assuage any doubts.
Yes, at this point I'll mostly focus on the GMAT. If you haven't taken it, I'd go ahead and do so, since it looks like one must have an official score before receiving any decisions. And if you're on the waitlist, a better GMAT score might improve your chances. I'll say there's still a good shot for you though. I mean, it's early in the process, and if they don't get some out-of-this-world applicants, like they maybe expecting, then that means a better chance for mere humans like us:)

Thank you guys for the feedback. My highest GMAT was a 630 and I will be retaking it in November.
