I'm not sure what area of the GMAT is more of a concern for you, but if you eed help with QUANT, I'll suggest taking a look at target test prep. I haven't taken the test yet (12/03), but I see a lot of progress in my accuracy and confidence. They have a 5-day trial, and I beleive there's a dicount for them on the discount list that MLT sent out a few weeks back. If you happen to check it out, please let me know what you think!

Note: I'm using Magoosh and the MGMAT books for the rest. I especially recommend the MGMAT SC book.

Best of luck!

Hi everyone! I had my online interview about 3 weeks ago and I am getting anxious to get a decision. I'm sure some of you are in that same boat. Wonder when we can expect to actually hear back?

As for the GMAT - The Manhattan books were a huge help to me. Also, make sure to take full advantage of the MBA.com practice tests; they really are as close to the real thing as it gets. I suggest leaving them towards the end of your studies in order to get a feel of where you are. I found it to be more than a worthwhile investment to purchase the additional 2 exams that MBA.com offers.

Best of luck!

Hey! I applied on 8/30, was invited for an interview on 9/12, completed the interview on 9/17, and heard back on 10/17. Literally a month after my interview and about a month a half after I submitted my apllication. They say you should hear back within 6 to 8 weeks after you submit your application (if you submit your official GMAT scores), and I found that to be true. Hope that helps!

I'm assuming the response you got was positive. If that's the case congratulations!

I agree, it makes a difference if you submitted with an official GMAT score. I got an email saying I won't hear back until I submit an official score.

Congrats again!

CG123, looking at past years, when the applications were due to when the applicants received notification, it looks like the admissions team takes the entire 6-8 weeks to make the decision. If they have not made any major changes to their admissions process since last year, I would expect that everyone who applied in first round to get decisions on either 18 Nov or 25 Nov, and right now I'd put money on 18 Nov (based on canders' timeline)

And for the GMAT, I found that a combination of EGMAT, Manhattan SC, and Gmatclub tests (along with the OG) to be a perfect combination! And the EGMAT/Gmatclub package only costed like $99 total.

I actually got a email with the wrong date. I had to call and get it cleared up they accepted my submission a day late because of their mistake.

Yeah, I got in! Though, I did submit my official scores. I had taken the GMAT in August, a couple of weeks before the early deadline. Best of luck to all of those still waiting to hear or in the process of applying!

Do they have like a Facebook group or groupme chat, etc, for all of you who are accepted? Or are you pretty much on standby until the kickoff conference in March?

I got a 710 (40 V / 47 Q). I think they consider you to be "GMAT ready" if you get 650 or more. If you get in with a score lower than 650, I believe you're required to enroll in some sort of course. You might want to check on their website.

So its looking like us Round 1'ers wont be getting a decision until the 9th of December, sounds like the MLT staff needed an extra month to get their minds around the election results too...

On a different note, any round 2 people finishing their apps this week? From my visits to a few MBA programs it seems like applications are up this year, but I barely see any traffic on any of the MLT/Consortium posts.

Wonder why they had to push back the decisions?

Anyways, good luck to all the Round 2'ers!

Hi all, has anyone heard back from MLT second round? I just received the interview invite today.

Curious to hear how your interview went.
