Lamar University MBA Program

The day before tomorrow I got chance to enroll in Lamar University MBA program, Fall-2013. The University is located in Beaumont, Texas, USA. Lamar University offered me in-state tuition rate and $1000 scholarship per year. Now I'm quite confused to go in USA for MBA. I have completed my BBA from University of Dhaka which is a top University in Bangladesh.

Now I would like to know should I go to Lamar University for MBA degree? Can anyone please tell me what are the job opportunities after completing MBA from Lamar University? Does it worth to do a MBA from Lamar University?

Anyone please help.....

Hi djuicejewel -- congrats on the admit and the offer of financial assistance!

Unfortunately we'd never heard of Lamar U or their MBA program until we saw your post. That doesn't mean it's not a good school, it just means that they're not a major player as far as bschools go.

Nobody else can say whether a bschool is right for someone - it's so personal and there are so many factors about you that we just don't know. We answered a similar question recently here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/post615095.html If you have questions about job opportunities coming out, then you should ask the school; they should have a Career Services department that would be able to help with such queries.

If you feel that this is the best program you can get into, and/or if you're ready to start your MBA right away, then you should go for it!
