May be you are right Prachi, Initially I selected A, but Much confused me and then I moved to C. But the above reasons are still not clear to me..

1. Run On sentence : how ?? is it cause of sentence starting from "it"

Option D: 'agree for' is unidiomatic. Hence Incorrect
Option E: Leave out the 'that' after 'agree'. Hence Incorrect.

here much does not refer to parents.It refers to agree here and hence use of much is correct.

Apart from some grammatical flaws in some of the other options that have already been pointed out, please note that all options other than A change the meaning of the original sentence.

However much parents agree that... is not the same as the intensely toned down parents agree that....

The original sentence stresses on the extent of agreement (almost a limitless extent), while the answer choices (other than A) just mention the existence of agreement as a fact.

Remember, we can't change the meaning (in this case the tone) of the sentence, unless the original sentence is non-sensical.

I totally agree with the explanation given above.
only A gives the right picture and all the other options change the meaning of the sentence.

"However much"- was really confusing when i read it the first time.
But guys when u read it again, it will throw the exact meaning.
