zero is neither +ve not -ve.
there is a huge difference in being +ve and being even number.

Yep - it can definitely be confusing. 0 is an even number but it is not positive or negative. Positive numbers are written to the right of zero on a number line.
Negative numbers are written to the left of zero on a number line.
So, 0 is neither Positive nor Negative.
Any number which can be written of the form 2N where N is an Integer is an Even number. 2N = 0 when N =0 , hence even !
Even,Odd,Positive,Negative,Rational,Irrational,Square,Cubes,...Mathematics is so much fun !
