"E" is wrong...

First of all, resemble is not an exact replacement of reminiscent.
Secondly, the phrase/portion "more resembles that of Plato's poetic narratives" is redundant.

There is no redundancy error in that of. It is actually pronoun reference error. Sentence would be correct if it is mentioned something like this: "George Santayana's work more resembles that of Plato and David...."

In simple way, we cannot compare one's work with some else work's work. Work can't do work :D
