Bubbli,
Your score demonstrates that you understand most of the key concepts that are tested. The strategy that I would advise for you is a divide and rule strategy.
In short, focus on one of the 3, SC/CR/RC and try to improve on these while keeping your performance consistent on the remaining 2 sections.
How can you do it?
The most important things is to understand your weakness and ensure that you dont repeat the same mistakes. You have data from 2 tests. Look at 1 section (say SC) and revise all the questions that you did incorrectly. Revise critically by posing the following questions:
- Did you spend enough time to understand the meaning
Did you spend enough time to analyze the original sentence and deduce possible errors.
Do you understand the mistake that you made. Have you taken steps to ensure that you dont repeat the mistake.
Try solving the question again. This time consciously apply the process and perform all process steps. Arrive at the correct answer yourself.
If you are not able to solve the question, then post it on the forums with your analysis and doubts.
After you receive the response, make notes. Again, ensure that you do not make the same mistake again.
Refer other material if you find that you are particularly week in a couple of topics to strengthen your skills in these areas.
Before your next mock
Revise SC/CR/RC 2 days prior to your next mock. This would ensure that your scores in the other 2 sections (the ones that you have not focused on) are maintained. Solve all the questions that you did incorrectly in the previous mocks (all mocks, not just GMATPrep).
Your should see improvement in the section that you have focused on. Once you see the desired improvement, move to the next section and repeat the process.
We also provide a free session that gives some other pointers. You can view the recording of the sessions here.
