Can someone explain how is the GMAT score calculated? What are the experimental questions? Has verbal bearing on quant score and vice versa?

Well you check this at www.mba.com
like every CAT exam Gmat scores keep moving while you answer them, if correctly then it will inflate if incorrectly it will deflate.....The cat assumes that you are in mid 500 when you start the exam.
Experimental question are those question which are not weighted to your scores but gmat simply put them for future purposes.If you get them write or wrong dosent matter. Those ques would be included in q37 and v41.
So you wont come to know which ques is weighted and which one is not.. so trest every ques seriously.
