by pulkit89.iit » Tue Jul 21, 2009 12:33 am
I didn't get an interview call.....considering the fact that i really worked quite hard for it i cant hide my disappointment... :(

lets just hope this process of self-assessment turns out to be beneficial in the end.....but im pretty happy i really gave both gmat (760) nd toefl (118/120) at the right time and did really well in both....

for all the people who got selected.....i wish all of u the best of luck for interviews and all future endeavors.....u r the best of the lot! :)

cheers

Hi guys

Found this blog on 'what to expect in an HBS interview' on the internet. Hope we can take something from it.

https://hbsguru.com/blog/2008/11/28/hbs- ... to-expect/

@Karan
I am doing my graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology and know 3 people from India who made it to the interviews (not all from IIT)

Cheers

I don't think I should be talking about somebody else but the guy had a stong app, that I know.

As for me:
Gmat-740, Toefl-114, Grade-8.7/10
Amongst .01% in engineering entrance exams
3 Interns- one at a leading fmcg company's agri division, another at a leading investment bank's front office, the third one is not important
Decent PORs and Extra Currics

@apprentice thanks for the link

how are you guys preparing for the interview? they said no special prep, but honestly that doesn't seem like the best plan.

Hi Guys

I made a facebook group for those who got the interview call so that we who are following this forum can connect and network with others who are not!

Whether we make it further or not, the group is special :)

Here's the link
https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=250332130384

Please do join and I've left the group open so that you can invite others you know who got a call.

Cheers

Monday 11am -- I'll take the weekend, which is nice because then I don't have to worry about delayed flights, etc. I guess I'll be one of the firsts.
