I have heard that you should wear a full suit. Good luck with your interview!

Did they say anything about sending them in at your interview? They didn't even ask a single question about my coursework...let alone ask for a transcript. I believe that you send in an official copy of your transcript if admitted, possibly even not until after graduation. I wouldn't worry about it unless your interviewer specifically asked.

How did everyone's interviews go? Apparently, there were 200+ interviewees...

200+, really!? i heard that there were about 100-150. The day I interviewed, there were about ~30 kids at the info session. so 30 x 6 days is about 200 interviewees but 200+ sounds like a lot.

they told our group while we were there last week...but it makes some sense (30 x 7 = 210) ...everyone was awesome. I had a great time.

interview

by germany2008 » Mon Aug 25, 2008 6:35 am
did anyone here get interviewed by two people? a person that was interviewing at the same time as me got interviewed by two people...apparently one of the ladies was a career center person. i was only interviewed by one person...i'm just wondering if the two people interviews were common and what it means??

I think it was fairly common...and even if there were two people in the room, both were not interviewers. I think that they use it for various reasons...to get other HBS folks (read: non-admissions) to understand the 2+2 program through learning more about the applicants, to train others on the interview process, and to observe new interviewers...

From what I could gather, it has no bearing on the admissions process whatsoever.

BTW, what were everyone's general impressions of HBS? I think that it's hard to walk away unimpressed...

I loved HBS. The campus is practically as big as my school's (and my school has a top business school, which consists of a few random buildings off to the side, haha). Not only was it impressive, but my interview was downright pleasant, not scary at all. My interviewer was really nice... she told me about some things I'd be interested in Boston, which I really appreciated. She was great. I did not feel at all that I was "grilled."

Having another person at your interview just means they were there to be trained in some capacity. It doesn't mean anything else. :)

So... now that notification is only one week away, how do you think they will be notifying us? E-mail or mail... and has anyone heard any other information regarding how many they are taking?
