Hi,

Yesterday took first practice test in gmat prep. Got a score of 640 with Q49 (out 37, 13 incorrect) and V28 (Out of 41, 17 incorrect). I haven't yet started my Verbal preparation in full speed. Kept it for the last, so that the learning will remain fresh in mind.

Now planning to prepare SC, CR and RC in the next 1 week, and then giving again the practice test. Thinking of using the strategy mentioned here (https://gmatclub.com/forum/verbal-need-t ... ml#p963913)

Please let me know if something else I can do which can help me in better preparation of verbal section.

Hi

Well done its a brilliant score to start with....Well after reviewing few good books i am sure i can cross 700....

Manhattan SC is a nice book with OG and critical reasoning bile for CR along with this read newspapers / magazines as much as you can specially wall street and stuff like that. You will be able to get good grasp of the language.

study hard stick with the basics..

I am sure you will be flawless..
