just remember to glance at the clock every 10 question in each section,

you should be at q 11 when u see 50 "min remaining on clock"
you should be at q 21 when u see 30 "min remaining on clock"
you should be at q 31 when u see 10 "min remaining on clock".

for verbal its 55 at Q-11, 35-Q21, 15 Q31.

Golden Rule, never get stuck on a quant question for more than 3 minutes and on a verbal question for more than 2 min.

Thanks bblast! I'm really hoping that I do well, these last couple of days really have been nerve wracking for me. I'm trying to stay calm. unforunately, i have a bad tendancy to freak out!

I'm giving my gmat on 20th and my stomach is going wild with butterflies

What I do for timing (on all my practice tests) is write down 65 - 6, 55 - 11, 45 - 16, 35 - 21, 25 - 26, 15 - 31 as that timing model works out well. If you adhere to it you will have plenty of time for the last 6 problems which should help you maintain your scoring range. Verbal I haven't had a timing issue and due to the reading comp being so variable, it's hard to have a firm time commitment on question number. Clearly, if you have two RC early on you won't be attaining your target number and I would not want the clock to dictate my pacing if there is no issue.
