Any Trekking Enthusiasts in the forum ?

I am planning on doing an Everest Base Camp trek next year(and a couple of low-medium difficulty treks before the EBC trek) and am looking for partner/s who are interested in joining me. Please let me know(via PM) if anyone is interested or has already planned a trek.

What is Everest Base Camp ? How tough is it ? What is the altitiude? How many days ? please find the answers to these questions below

So to get to Everest Base Camp you start in Lukla. The normal duration of a trip is around 2 weeks, and the maximum altitude is 5555 meters. You will have to walk mostly uphill for the first half and takes 4-5 hours per day. You should be in moderately good shape and have a good attitude. Food and lodging is available in all towns. Internet and electricity are only available in the larger towns. Word to the wise have more money than you expect to spend or go with an all inclusive service like ours at www.rocksolidtrek.com because there are no ATM's and Western Union only operates in Lukla. Beware have extra time at the end, cloud cover can prevent you from leaving the airport.
