An ice-cream sells two sizes of
cones, Generous and Colossal. How
many Colossal cones were sold one
day?

1) The total sales were $209.15
2) Generous cones sold for 75 cents
and Colossal cones for $1.25

Let the number of Generous cones sold be G and number of Colossal cones sold be C, then
1) The total sales were $209.15

We don't know the number, nor the price of each type of come. So, statement I is insufficient to answer the question.
2) Generous cones sold for 75 cents and Colossal cones for $1.25
0.75 G = ?
1.25 C = ?
Since, we don't know the total sale amount, we will not be able to tell the number of Colossal cones sold. So, Statement II is insufficient to answer the question.
Form 1 and 2
0.75 G + 1.25 C = 209.15
15 G + 25 C = 4183.
5 *(3G + 5C) = 4183 ??
Now can a multiple of 5 have 3 as its units digit ?

Can you please correct the question if it is wrong or correct me if I am wrong.

This is a faulty question.

Statement 2 tells us that Generous cones cost 3 quarters each ($0.75), and Colossal cones cost 5 quarters each ($1.25).
So, a purchase of Generous and Colossal cones can be purchased using quarters only.
However, statement 1 tells us the total cost is $209.15. Since we cannot reach a total of $209.15 using quarters alone, this information contradicts statement 2. As such, it cannot be a true GMAT question.
