Hi Everyone,

I am totally struggling on mastering the fundamentals. I have been going through OG problems - mostly to get a grasp on what I am really weak on. It has been going well...I have only had trouble with a few. Of course, I have not been timing myself just yet.

I plan on utilizing my MGMAT books (maybe some other questions) for practice timing sessions. However, I feel like I am missing something...my plan feels wrong somehow. I want to be sure that I get a good score - something that will not shame me each time I speak of it. My first attempt on this test was a 550. I will NOT repeat that. I take the test in 10 weeks.

Most of the tutors on this site have been lovely! They have told me to focus on a mixture of untimed and time practice drills, and some tests. I have the MGMAT books, practice drills, etc.

Any advice on any further materials? I noticed the OG questions do not get very high level?

Also, my initial question is has anyone ever read the book posted in the subject line? I never have, but have heard good things. I was concerned this may be a hoax, or some additional junk I would not need to read. I have no intention of taking the test this soon, anyhow.

I know its tough but hang on there! :)

Don't worry too much about ticking all the checkboxes. Just get the OG + 1 decent test prep program (MGMAT will do just fine). Start taking GMATPrep tests to assess where you stand. Once you zone in on your weaknesses - just ask us - you should get some answers.

If it was true, the author would be a millionaire now and probably hired by GMAC to design their materials. There are no short-cuts, either you go through the grind or you don't get the score.
These course and others which promise success in 2-4 weeks lure people into false sense of security.
Work hard, brush your fundamentals,use standard materials, give tests , repeat, repeat till you reach your target. Don't go by Amazon, search this forums for debriefs of people who have achieved your target score and take tips from there.

You have the perfect guide book..but in order to gauge your scores you need real and the most identical ques to the real gmat....Only in OG and gmat prep you can practice with real ques's.

Also at 700+ lever ques remain same but it gets more trickier.

If your basics are strong...It will be all fine...
Don't look for the incorrect things that you have done rather look for remedies....
