I just Beat The GMAT!

50 points is going to be difficult to improve over two weeks. To cover some tactical advice for your weaknesses, check out the resources in the GMAT Resource Directory. Otherwise, unless you're in a rush, I would consider postponing your test. If you feel insufficiently prepped for basic concept or strategy on the GMAT, you will unlikely fix these problems over the next two weeks.

Thanks for the question--just to be clear, I never said that I received a 50 in quant and a 40 in verbal.

Your question about how many GMAT questions you need to answer correctly to score a 720 is really difficult to answer. The reason why is that there is no clear answer. Not sure where you received your source, but don't trust it if it features some sort of chart that maps # questions right to raw score!

The GMAT is unique in that it is computer-adaptive, and thus your score will change with each subsequent question you get right or wrong. It's possible to get many questions wrong and still end up with a high score. And since know one really knows for sure how the adaptive algorithm works (except for GMAC), it's not going to be a good use of your time to analyze what # of questions correct--in what order--will get you to your target score.

You'll be better off just focusing at one question at a time on your GMAT. Just focus on getting the question at hand correct, and move on!

If you already have OG10 and OG11, I don't think it's necessary to buy OG12.

That's correct, if you have OG12 then I don't think you need to purchase the older versions.
