50 points is going to be difficult to improve over two weeks. To cover some tactical advice for your weaknesses, check out the resources in the GMAT Resource Directory. Otherwise, unless you're in a rush, I would consider postponing your test. If you feel insufficiently prepped for basic concept or strategy on the GMAT, you will unlikely fix these problems over the next two weeks.
Good luck!

I have a doubt . You said you got 50 in quant and 40 in verbal ,
I saw in a book that it directly translates to 31 questions correct in verbal and and 30 questions correct in quant.
Can you throw some light on how many questions need to be attempted correctly to score 720 .

Thanks for the question--just to be clear, I never said that I received a 50 in quant and a 40 in verbal.
Your question about how many GMAT questions you need to answer correctly to score a 720 is really difficult to answer. The reason why is that there is no clear answer. Not sure where you received your source, but don't trust it if it features some sort of chart that maps # questions right to raw score!
The GMAT is unique in that it is computer-adaptive, and thus your score will change with each subsequent question you get right or wrong. It's possible to get many questions wrong and still end up with a high score. And since know one really knows for sure how the adaptive algorithm works (except for GMAC), it's not going to be a good use of your time to analyze what # of questions correct--in what order--will get you to your target score.
You'll be better off just focusing at one question at a time on your GMAT. Just focus on getting the question at hand correct, and move on!

OG 12 and OG 10 are said to have some overlap, but I believe you'll find mostly 'new' questions in the OG 12 book.bpgen wrote:Does OG 12 contain all question from OG 10? or I have to go through OG 10 also?

I wanted to ask if I have OG10 and OG11,Is it sufficient for verbal practice alongwith the new OG12 or is it a must to buy the newest edition of the verbal review.
I have the manhattan and powerscore guides,so I wanted to ask if it is sufficient??
On another note, just check my suggestion for introduction of "captcha" in "Suggestions and Feedback" forum.
IS it feasible??
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button

If you already have OG10 and OG11, I don't think it's necessary to buy OG12.
I'll address your other question in the other forum, thanks.

That's correct, if you have OG12 then I don't think you need to purchase the older versions.bpgen wrote:Thanks Eric for your information, just want to make sure, if I have OG 12 then no need to go for OG 10,11 so.. right? Please check out my response to your post in the GMAT Strategy section. To summarize what I had said: check out my GMAT Blog first to see how you can start your prep, https://beatthegmat.blocked
Hi Eric,
I tried to load your blog (https://beatthegmat.blocked) many times, but I failed. Is it still online?
If everything is OK with your blog it seems that something wrong with my Internet-browser.
Is there any other links to this blog. I wanted to see your prep plan for GMAT. My friends said that your plan was well organised.
Thanks,
