(A) 0.00084
(B) 0.0084
(C) 0.084
(D) 0.84

The question is incomplete unless it is mentioned 6% and 14% what.
Looking at the question I guess they are percentages of 1.

Hence, (6% of 1)*(14% of 1) = (0.06)*(0.14) = 0.0084

The correct answer is B.

Very simply -

Product of 6% and 14% => (16/100*14/100) = 84/10000


Now we have 84/10000 , ie 4 digits will be there after the decimal point , becasue we have 4 zero's as denominator...

So answer will be 0.0084

The question is incomplete !

Calculating the percentages of 1 we get (6/100)* (14/100) = 84 * 10^-4 = 0.0084

The correct answer is B.
