I was waitlisted also, and I told them I would be going to assessment day in NYC at the end of January. I dont know what else we could be doing at this point... (or what else I could send them?)Vitalina wrote:Are you doing anything while waiting, i.e. sending mails, extra material, recs?hk wrote:IESE waitlisted me he he. Now the fun begins!!

^^ I would love to go to an assessment day, but Judge is not inviting waitlisted candidates for one.
I have already sent a general message reaffirming my intentions to study there, and I think I will ask one of my professors to send an additional rec.

Just heard back from ASU... waitlisted. They encourage me to send additional materials. Not sure what I'll send? Its not like I'm writing op-ed pieces for the local paper or anything...palermo10 wrote: Schools:

I haven't posted much on here, but I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's profiles. A little about me:
Name: Michele
Age: 36 (It's never too late, right?)
Gender: Female
Eth: Caucasian
Nationality: USA
Current Location: Fort Worth, Texas
UGPA: 3.2
GMAT: 640
Work Exp: 12 years in sports journalism, 10 in Fort Worth
Applying: 2010
Undergrad: BA in Journalism from University of Nevada-Reno
I've picked three schools based on location, ROI and my career goals. I've toiled in the journalism biz far too long. I'd like to get into marketing, especially sports marketing. I have not pushed the button on any apps yet.
Schools I'm applying to:
TCU Neeley (my hometown school has a highly-regarded little MBA program)
Oregon Lundquist (Sports Marketing program)
Northwestern Medill (MS in Integrated Marketing Communications)
Happy Holiday everyone!
