Register for exam with different test center and take this. I do the same, BUT I should bring advocacy in the face of GRE too. If I score not less than high 80s percentile rank with another decent standardized test accepted by Stanford for its PhD in Finance and I have score below 10 percentile Verbal with 30 percentile Math in GMAT, this should tell the GMAC something about its software being administered at such a distance that this may cause the system failures!
@NR, I understand ur feelings, but this thought is like comparing "Apples Vs Oranges"!!

How can ur high 80 percentile quant in GRE can prove that GMAC software is wrong or didn't test ur potential correctly.

It's like since becox SouthAfrica has never won worldcup cricket ,it doesn't mean it's poor in world class cricket."..

goodluck NR!! Sleep well!!

i noticed that you've changed the title of this post to "3/28/11". does that mean that you've reconsidered your decision about the test, and are going to be taking it again on that date?

I have been analyzing all possibilities of my present GMAT result with the knowledge of my mock test results /described in the first post/ There are three possibilities which follow

Three is GMAT exam works by use of software program(s) installed onto a computer. The computer needs to be plugged into electrical socket through UPS for the latter to stabilize the trends in electrical power. No UPS may precisely adjust the electrical power trends for the randomness of electrical power is very difficult to foresee. The test computer needs an operating system and processor to work. The hardware and many software parameters define how efficiently the computer will work. Can the software program(s), utilized for GMAT exam, transmit the correct and incorrect answers to cache at PVue testing center not properly? <-- ???
@NR...this one is just too way beyond imaginations!!

Yeah so u r gonna take the test again as Ron has asked??

You have set a solid strategy for the GMAT. AS for the GRE, you should be able to find a link that will let you take a practice version of the new test. You could then compare your performance on the two versions before committing. When a test changes, as we saw with the SAT and ACT, the new versions can be unpredictable and scores frequently drop. Nevertheless, many will do better with the new form. Your best bet is to try both and see which suits YOU best.

Good luck,
