Before hitting the books/practice again, I would attempt to diagnose weak areas. What are the trends in your wrong answers.

For CR:
1. Do you get specific question types (assumption, strengthen/weaken, inference) wrong?
2. On the questions you got wrong, did you have "reading issues" or "reasoning issues"?

Reading issues: On review, you saw that you missed some *vital information* that was important to answering the question correctly. And it was clear once you figured this out why one answer was correct. Suggestion? Slow down your reading pace (at least for now).

Reasoning issues: On review, you re-read the CR passage but it still didn't make logical sense, or you were still unclear why the "official answer" is correct. Suggestion? Review strategies for that question type, browse for explanations on BeatTheGMAT!


For SC:
In my opinion, Subject-verb-agreement is key. You'll need to get to a point where answering these questions are fairly automatic -- other SC topics build on Subject-verb-agreement.

Memorizing Idioms: e.g., "compare with/compare to", "not only X, but also Y", "comprises/comprised of"... etc. Idioms still get me, cos the way we say things are not always technically correct per GMAT English! Memorizing Idioms help to quickly eliminate wrong answer choices that use idioms incorrectly.

To me, this is a good starting point for improving CR/SC. I'm passing on advice I received that helped me improve my verbal (though I need more help in Quant).
