I have a question.
According to your reply, it seems that in contrast with and in contrast to are different.
However, I don't understand the differences, they seem to be interchangeable.
Can you help on this, please?

This is how I approach such questions -

1) Look at the idiom. 'As contrasted to/wish' is incorrect. The correct idiom is 'In contrast to/with'.
2) If the answer choice boils down to contrast to/with or compared to/with, which is highly unlikely then this is how it goes

Rule 1: "Compared to" compares unlike things, whereas "Compared with" compares like things.

Rule 2: "Compared to" is used to stress the resemblance. "Compared with" can be used to show either a similarity or difference, but is usually used to stress the difference.
