I think B is the answer

as compae with is right idiom and i chose B as it is less wordy and conveys the meaning

agree with kartik1979 on B

"stand a chance" is better than "stand a likelihood". "chance of approval" is better than "chance of being..". B is the most concise of all.

My answer is B

Besides using the right idiom in comparison with, those has a clear antecedent(proposals).
Its better to burn out than to fade away

First figure out what is being compared:
likelihood of proposal with graphics being approved is compared with
likelihood of proposal without graphics being approved
because of the phrase "20% better than"

A - compares likelihood to proposals - Wrong
B- in comparison with - is correct because when you compare differences "compare with" is preferred to "compare to".
however, compares likelihood to proposals - Wrong
C. stand a likelihood they will be - awkward
D. greater X as Y is wrong idion
E. 20% more likelihood of being approved than do proposals without graphics - does the right comparison.
E is correct.

You need to the learn where to use being(Kaplan says this)

B - better chance than ... would have more precise
C-a likelihood 'that' required... bad choice anyway
D- compare to in not correct
E- than do

A says being approaved as getting approved-- correct choice

I dont like this question though :x
