1. Point (1,1) in on line L.
2. The equation x=2-y describes line L.

B
IMP Pt.:-
For unique eqn to a line we need:-
1)a pt. on the line -(1,1) but slope not given in the 1st statement
2)slope of the line.
Both are listed in statement 2.
Hence B.
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

1. insufficient

2) One can substitute (4, -2) in the equation x=2-y and see if it falls in the line

Sufficient

Hence B[/spoiler]

to check whether point (4, -2) lies on the line L..
St.1) since we know one point(1,1) and nothing else i.e. slope or any other point on line we can't detrmine it..=====not suff.
St.2) The equation x=2-y describes line L. so putting values (4,-2) -2 = 2-4 which is true ....suff
Ans B
