XLRI GMP India --worth it?

by Ruch12345 » Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:33 am
Hi

How good is XLRI GMP ,one of the many one year MBA course in India.
Is it really worth going for , considering that I am already at good levels in my career.
I have 6+ years of experience in telecom, done some community, decent academics, 710 GMAT and an Indian female applicant.
How does it rank in comparison to other B-schools in India.

Does anybody have any idea?

Please download their brochure and class profile. And I believe they have a employment profile as well. They have similar candidates like you in their classes. So I am assuming that GMP would be good. I have 10+ yrs in IT and applying this year. Still if there are some others who can share their view then that would be good.

Hi,

Ranking may not represent the true picture. You need to see what parameters the ranking is done on and then make a decision. We can help you with what these parameters should be
The best way to choose a B school is based on career goals. You need to see if the schools will help you realizing those goals. Apart from that factors like what the school specializes in, size of classes in school (big class or small class), alumni success rate, placement record and more. Also you need to keep in consideration what recruiters tend to come on campus. You can talk to alumni's and career center wings to know further the opportunities the school provides you.
We hope this helps you
