Is |x - y|>|x - z|?
(1) |y|>|z|
(2) x < 0

Guys how to solve this question step by step in the fastest possible manner

The answer should be E.

The only way i think is to substitute values.

stmt 1 is insuff.

There is no information about x. Also we need the signs of x, y and z.

stmt 2, says nothing about y and z hence insuff.

together 2 stmts.

put x = -1,y=5,z=-3, gives |x - y|>|x - z|

put x = -5,y=-9,z=5, gives |x - y|<|x - z|

hence answer should be E.
