try to plugin values according to the given options ..if you are getting variable options a/ b is wrong but c is right

can someone post the explanation here..
pluggin in numbers is fine but can someone post the algebraic explanation

x/x-y = y-x/2(1+y)

from one :-
x>0>y
from 1 we can conclude that x is positive and y is negative
so we have the orginal equation in the form:-
X(+ ve)
--------------------------------
X(+ve) + Y(as Y negative)

<
-Y -X
---------------------------
2(1 -y)

so y-x
---------
2(1+y)

will result in a positive fraction only when y <-1 hence ..otherwise it wil

result in a negative value hence less than L.H.S
Hence NOT SUFFICIENT
from 2.
y<-1

if X is negative we get X/x-y greater and if xis positive we get y-x/2(1+y)

NOT sufficient

combine both noe u know X is possitive and Y <-1
so RHS will be greater
