If (x + 2)/7 is an integer greater than 2, then the remainder, when x is divided by 7 is
(A) 2
(B) 3
(C) 4
(D) 5
(E) 6

x=7q-2 (q>1)

What ever q value is,x/7 have remainder as 5.

take x = 19.

so (x + 2)/7 = 3
rem when 3 div by 7 is 3

so B

it to be gretaer than 2 then minimum value of x will have to be 19 19+2/7=3 >2
thus 19/7 remainder 5
next example would be x=40 then 40+2/42 =6 an integer and gretaer than 2 but again x/7 remainder 5
so answer is D
