Plug in numbers.
\(y=17, 34, 51\)
\(x= pn_1^2+ pn_2^2, y=17Q\)

Anything higher is \(>60\)
\(2\) as first number:
\(4+9 = 13, 4+25 = 29, 4+49 = 53\)

\(3\) as first number:
\(9+25 = 34\)
\(9+49 = 58\)
Anything higher is \(>60\)

\(34\) should immediately pop out as being a possible value of both \(x\) and \(y\), thus \(x-y\) could \(= 0\).
