Hello,

I would like you to avaluate my chances.
So here it goes:

Last year , I applied to ESADE, but did not get accepted, however nor did I get dinied on my application.
the commitee told me that I need to increase my GMAT score and another work experience year would benefitial to me.
So the year has past and here I am applying again.
So what are my chances , what do you think?

I took GMAT 7(!!!) times and my best score last year was 540, while this year I am applying with 610 (44Q, 27V)
I have 4 years of work experience in finance world (I am a financial analyst for a big international investment Bank)
I have worked abroad on projects. The bank would send me for 2 months to different countries for training.
I am eastern european , but currently live in NY. English is not my first language, so that explains my low V on GMAT
I am a female and during my college years I worked as a peer leader, so I have leadership skills.
For extra curriculat - I like art , and I've traveled to different counties to study art (college courses)

What do you think, i have chance this year???

IF you were a graduate school, would you take me?
Thanks,

Apart from getting a higher GMAT, what did you two with the extra year of work experience? Did you get promoted?

I don't think you're going to get accepted just for getting a higher GMAT alone...

Unfortunately, I don't get a vote on admissions committees, but you should be in good shape with ESADE since you have done all that they asked. Their middle 80% is 600-770. Last year you were well below that range, but now you are within it. Be sure to emphasize any learning from the extra year of work experience, including improvements in your English. I don't know ESADE's application profile, but suspect that they don't have a lot of Eastern European women applying. That would put you in a smaller applicant pool, which would increase your chances. You should stress what you have learned growing up in an area that has seen enormous economic changes in your lifetime. You want them to see you as someone who will bring a fresh perspective to the classroom.
