A, B and C, each of them working alone can complete a job in 6, 8 and 12 days respectively. If all three of them
work together to complete a job and earn $ 2340, what will be C's share of the earnings?

A. $1100
B. $520
C. $1080
D. $1170
E. $630

a, b, c complete complete job in 6, 8 and 12 days respectively

let x = amount of work

a completes 4x work
b completes 3x work
c completes 2x work

9x=2340
x=260

c =2x =520

Combining it will take 8/3 days to finish the job

so 8/3*2340 =780*8

C share =780*8/12=520

share in the profit will be same as work done=1/6:1/8:1/12=8:6:4=4:3:2

so share of c=2340*(2/9)=260*2=520

Ans option B
