Two machines A and B working together can produce 140 units in one hour. How many units can A produce in one hour?
(1) The average units that both machines can do in 1 hour is 70
(2) A can produce 5 more units than B.

IMO B

1, not sufficient -> (A+B)/2 = 70
2, sufficient -> x+ (x+5) = 140 => B=x, A= x+5

Should be E. First one is obviously not sufficient. Second one just says A can produce 5 more machines. 5 more machines per what? hour? minute? second?

I think we can take it as A produces 5 more units than b in an hour.

Answer should be B
