A car traveled at a constant speed of 88 feet/second. Did it finish a 40 miles trip in T hours?
(1mile=5280 feet)
1). T<45
2). T>42

Distance = 40*5280 = 211200 feet. Speed = 88 Time= 211200/88 = 2400 seconds = 40 mins.

St.(1) Time is 40 mins which is less than 45 hours. Sufficient.

St.(2) Time is more than 42 hours. Not sufficient.

Ans. A

88 fps = 60 mph

=> 40 miles trip is completed in 40 mins

1) If T = 30, trip is not completed in T hours
If T = 41, trip is completed in T hours
different answers for different values of T. NOT SUFFICIENT

2) For T > 45, the trip will be completed in T hours not matter what the value of T is.
