1. People usually say that you should not take the GMAT more than three times unless you see significant improvement. Fact is, you don't want to seem stubborn to the committee: if the GMAT is not your thing, then focus on other parts of the application and that might offset a low score.

2. TOEFL scores are generally used as "cutoff values". Basically, if you get above a certain value, then you don't really need to worry about a thing. Most schools will post TOEFL requirements on their websites. For instance, I know that Harvard asks for a 109. Most schools will require far less than that, though. But I'm sure that if you can pull off a 700 on the GMAT, getting over 105 on the TOEFL will be no big deal. You can check out more tips and reviews on our TOEFL forum:
