In addition to UGC recognition, LPU has received endorsements from several key regulatory bodies, including the Council of Architecture (COA), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Furthermore, LPU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Notably, LPU was the first institution to obtain approval from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is also affiliated with the Bar Council of India (BCI) and holds accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
